m1009 glow care issue

ok after seeing that the 3 pin would not work i ordered the 4 pin. it came in today and easy install and it started right up. light works and everything. so this is the rest of the story. i moved it out of the path going to the back yard so wife is happy so that makes me happy

Can anyone tell me more about that second board for the STE/ICE buffer? What kind of tach signal does it output? Could it drive a standard gas tach?
