Hello.
I want to buy a cover for the M35. I found the cover 14'x16 '. I know that for long. I have to shorten. But the importance of the spacing frame. The distance between the frame was the same ( 2.5T and 5T )? Is it enough to reduce cover?
Maybe somewhere is thread like this but I don't know the language so well and it's hard for me to find.

Chris,

If the cover you have will fit from side to side, an extra foot or two in the front and back will not be a problem. Actually, you need only about 15 to 20 cm overhang in the back and the rest can be out in the front (almost enough to go all the way down and seal up the front). As long as you can secure the front edge so the wind does not come in the front it will be good. Your cargo will stay dry and you only need a back curtain to completely seal out the elements.

The older style cargo tops were three pieces - a front that wrapped cords around the front bow and sides and was secured at the bottom, same on the back except the cords were only on the top (so it could be lifted). Then the main piece went on and overlapped about 6 inches (15 cm) on the front and back to block out the wind and rain. That is the reason for the rope sewn into the edge - so it could be pulled tight and secured. Hope this helps!

Chris, I have a cover that will fit your truck. It is a one piece vinyl cover and in good shape. The only problem is the zipper is off track. If you can fix or have the zipper fixed, we maybe can make a deal. PM me if interested.

Your English is good enough to make yourself understood here, and much better than my Polish. My Polish wife I don't understand at all!

I think it is OK to reduce the length of your 14' cargo cover. Have you found one close to you?

I am having difficulty in finding a new cargo cover for my deuce and am considering reducing the length of a 14" 5-Ton cargo cover for my truck.

I would trade a new 5-Ton cover for a new deuce cover if anyone has one.
