My new M923 doesn't have its date of manufacturer stamped on its dataplates, which may have been replaced at time of overhaul. GL says it's a 1984 AM General truck, but I hope that you can verify that before I request my SF97.

a. Serial number C52306860
b. Registration number NL0J3C
c. NSN 2320010502084
d. GL via Barstow DRMO
e. No bumper numbers. Appears to be overhauled then not re-issued?

Thanks in advance!

Hello, I'd like to double check the info on a 1971 M813a1 WO/W I purchased last fall.
This is the info off the tag I found in the glove box:

Nat. Stock No. 2320000508954
Ord. Service No. 8736854
Id no. 565009 (I also found this number stamped in the frame)
Cont. No. M0002787c0022

I was told it was a Kieser Jeep, But have heard others say that after 69/70 they were AM General. I was also told it saw service in Hawaii and would love to find out how in the world in ended up in central Wisconsin!
And as a general question to throw to others reading these; Mine has a quick disconnect on the transfer air line that is vented. I know this is to keep the sprag from engaging so I wont have the roll back problem... but shouldnt I still hear the poppets when putting it in gear? Or do they not make noise with the air disconnected?
I have started reading the TM's...but that a LOT of info to absorb!
Thanks for this wonderful site!

I don't think the information provided is correct. There should be a different number on the drivers side front wheel well frame.
