Is an M1028 (dually M1008 ) with an M1031 body on it. Not very common, but they are also not super rare.

I think someone here has one.

I would love to have one.

I would love to have one too. This one is definitely on a base somewhere. I figured that out by looking at the background. Darwin T's has a body from an older Dodge version of the truck. It's a nice one.

That looks really tough. I've never seen one of those. Well I have seen one, but I believe the one in particular that I saw was converted to dual wheels after it left the military.

I've seen plenty of these SECM trucks, including Darwin's conversion. But I have never seen one in like in the photo. After zooming in on the photo, I concluded that it was built that way and not a conversion.

The SECM trucks go for ungodly amounts on GL. There is no telling what that would fetch.

I'd like to see one of those up close.

It's that rear fender configuration that gets me. I wouldn't mind having it for the appearance, not the traction. Where did you happen across that rig?

Is this the same truck? Don't think so.
This one is a Dodge box take off. you can tell by how far down the front access door comes down. It is almost to the bottom of the rocker panel. It would not have the pto driven genset, but could have the older gas gen. welder setup.

I came across this photo by pure dumb luck. It looks as if this truck is on a base. However, I'm very interested.

Has anyone ever come across such an animal?
This is the first one I have seen with the newer secm box on it. All the others I have seen have the secm box off of the older dodges. If this has the pto driven genset installed it would be very cool and uncommon. Good find!

Is the same type of truck, but not the exact same truck as pictured before. The yellow safety lights on the box are different. As are a couple of other things.
BTW That truck sold for $3103 back in 2009 on GL. Ft. Meade. It was a M1028a3 (NO PTO)

I've been seeing those things fetch six to eight thousand if they were in decent shape, with the tools. I was in a bidding war, recently. I just have to bow out when they get over $3000 since I have to ship them or go get them.
