I'm sorry but I just don't see any harm.

CJ offered something he didn't need and asked for folks to PM him and that has been done.

If CJ asked for money or even advertised the item is available for sale that would be a nono.

If the site gets that chicken chit it needs to be done by a mod who has the authority to "smack someone down a notch!"

Where does it say free? I would ask if MikeV offered money or Cyclejay gave them away but its to late now to get honest answer. Not calling either one dishonest but in reality only those 2 will know the real answer to that. I have no doubt that if they were to answer this they would both say they were free. But again its to late for that.

WTB ads are free for everyone, maybe we could make a "for free" section in the classifieds.(also free to everyone, not just paid members) If you read your local paper you see "free kittens" all the time.................in the classifieds, not the front page.

And that is why people get chased away from this site all the time. The old timers will just say "Grow thicker skin!" . The ones leaving will tell you there are other sites out there that treat people better. There is so much controversy over the classifieds on this site does anyone actually use them?

Sound like something a troll would do? I can tell you I have helped out far more times than I have told others to "get in line".

When I was "in", they taught me discipline, to follow the rules, even if those rules are stupid and pointless, or whether (sp?) or not there is no harm to anyone when those rules are broken, they are still the rules and everyone is expected to follow them.

Sorry if it went way farther than I thought it would but I'm not going to back down and cowwer (sp?, again) away because someone gets upset when its pointed out.

It is my understanding that the intention (not the technical writing) of the rules is that the forums are for discussion and the classifieds are for trading parts. Am I wrong?
