I moved my 953 yesterday for the first time with the 931.I am glad I swithed the 1400s to 1100s,it helped give it power on the hills around here.

Funny I feel the same, those big old singles work great for somethings, but not everything. I like the duals as well, looks good.
At work we tried them on Line trucks, worked well but when flat guess what? your done! cant even move off road. And the tires weigh so much very hard for one guy to handle. So, no we'll keep our duals thank you.

Looks great, John. I love the look of the singles, and also like the higher road speed, but I agree, the 1100s definitely are better for pulling. Great looking rig!

Absolutely beautiful truck, And the duels are awesome, they are more road worthy and stable for any truck puling or carrying loads, Singles are much better in sand and rocky terrain, and thats where we fight, so they are in theater more than others, But all the 88mikes i know took a truck with duels over singles anytime they could over there, they just last longer to boot, and when U are responsible for changing them before the next mission, and the guys with the trucks with duels are hanging out while the guys with super singles are breaking wrenches and humping those monsters, I can see why, most convoys are over roads that have been swept, singles eat up fast on pavement , after days of puonding down the road, ...are the stories i heard from the first gulf war to today, besides your truck looks at least just as good
