Who tows with their wrecker often?

I use wrecker a lot for towing what about the rest of you folks any fulltime towtruck operators out here, I know there's at least one.

at 3.5 mpg it only leaves my shop if someone else is paying for the fuel.. or i save up or take a second morgage out. lol. its a have to case in other words. but love to drive it around but dont like to go into the hills towing something heavy. flat land is ok though. gotta love the wrecker

The wrecker was neat, I enjoyed it's abilities but in the long run, it didn't see much use other than joy rides. Someone else thought more of it and it's got a nice home. I think recovering stuff with a tractor and a lowboy with a winch works better for me and since the DRMO business around my area is slow, I had no need for a dedicated recovery vehicle. I will add, flat towing with a M936A2 beats flat towing with an M35A2 any day of the week but I did keep the tow bar, chains, intervehicular air lines and light bar from the wrecker for the occasional "light" recovery.

I tow with mine all the time. It had a holmes tow sling with it when I picked it up at redstone makes pickups and stuff easy to tow, back right up like a civy wrecker and hookup
