ah i missed that sadness..
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
Not trying to create any drama, nor saying I agree with his statement. That was simply an accurate quote of what he stated via e-mail to me. I just think it was a waste of a good truck. I have a friend looking for one and we also know where a replacement engine is. I do not know if he is a member here, he just volunteered that info:Is he a member here ? There seems to be no shortage of people getting around the classified rules .
Most of them would just start a thread about my 1009 has a blown head gasket and I only have 7 days to get it out of the repair shops lot. Or if was a member he could have ask another member help him list it . Do we really need the drama of " he could not afford the $15 fee so we lost this one "
The old classifieds were atotal mess and with the paid classifieds it still takes a moderator just for the classifieds , because members don't follow the rules or manage their ads.
Nope not at all.do you have anything of value to add to this post or just a dumb statement?
Not quite as dramatic as couldn't afford to pay $15 . That said , had he spent the $15 dollars he probably would have doubled or more what he got scraping it . And he most likely would have had responses the day he posted it.Not trying to create any drama, nor saying I agree with his statement. "I would have much rather it gone to you guys. I regret it as well. You don't want to know the price, but you could prob make a pretty accurate guess.
It's good to know you guys are up there. I wanted to post it on Steel Soldiers as well, but didn't want to pay the 15$ fee(due to my short deadline)."

True, he would made more here, a buddy of mine would have given him up to $1000 for it. One can assume he did not want to pay the $15 due to financial reasons since he could not afford to repair the truck, and accepted such a low ball scrap price. That is just an assumption on my part, perhaps he thought if he paid the $15 it just would not get sold as fast as needed....who knows. Not quite as dramatic as couldn't afford to pay $15 . We don't know that either, plenty of free wifi hotspots, or people with unsecure networks. But he could afford the internet to email you. Hmm.......

We get it, advertisements are annoying!
