Just completed my latest Mod!!
Glo-Shift pyrometer/ boost/ temp 3 in 1 guage!

The gage got good reviews all over the net especially for the price of $170. (includes EVERYTHING)

This is a 12v multi-color LED lit electronic unit. (no tubes)
seems to give accurate readings with the posts of other I have found on here doing research b4 I went with this gauge.

Do these readings sound correct on average?
floored uphill freeway on-ramp... EGT 1200 max @ 18psi
cruising about 67 mph EGT 8-900 @ 3-4 psi
idle 0 mph EGT 200 @0 psi

*fuels has beet turned up usual # flats*
*RPM limit raised*
*running on 395/ 85 tires*
*about 80% WMO*

Mounted on steering column at same location as turn signal because I want it in my face and minimizes reflections, and very bright!
set to red color.
(I haven't plumbed the Trans. temp sensor yet so its reading the radiator area heat)

sorry for the bad pics.. try taking them with a cell phone at that speed one handed while bumping down the road! heh

Just checked their install instructions: 12V, everywhere! So, did you run a wire directly to the (+) post on the 2nd battery?

G.
Yes, I have a battery equalizer, which lets me run up to 90 amps of 12 volts
I tapped off my 12 volt lighter socket For power.
It switches on and off with the headlight switch as a control wire
the gage is an electronic type of stepper motor control.

The equalizer does let me tap of the battery as you said but it keeps em equally charged. Eventuality going to run 12v fuel transfer pump
