h1 tires pop off the bead pretty easy.

down in the sand pit. messing around with a friends new truck.. we were getting stuck a lot.. he lowered the air pressure. it helped.. 2 tires came off. what a pain that was.. running the tires at street pressure just got us stuck. other then beadlock any other tips to keep them on? thanks [thumbzup]

or play with the air pressure till you find out how low you can go without popping the bead. If you cant go low enough then beadlocks it is.

What wheels?
H1 is a civillian designation and doesn't clarify the actual wheel or tire.

16.5" wheels normally don't have safety beads. This is why the pop off at low pressure. Beadlocks are the preferred solution but there are also many websites out there where folks have added a safety bead by welding a bead around the rim and then finishinig it with a grinder/sander.

How low did he lower the pressure? Sounds like a beadlock system is in order. That's what they are for, to allow you to run low air pressures without the bead coming off. The 37x12.50x16.5 tires are somewhat narrow tires for the height and are going to have bead issues at low pressures on wider wheels.

not to sure how much i did.. maybe about 15 20.. that would be pretty good for sand i would think.. a friends with us lowered his pressure too on his o8 he has 15" rims.. no problem for him.. hes looking into beadlocks now.. seems to be the only choice
