I am thinking about buying 1 of these trailers to use out on the farm. Does anyone know if you can pull this trailer with out any air supply to it. I would like to pull it with a pickup truck or tractor.

The trailer has air brakes and an air suspension system. You could cage the brakes to move it around, but it is too much trailer for a pickup to handle.

Do you mean the M989 or the M989A1? I have the A1 and it is indeed VERY heavy, but then again it was designed to be towed by a HEMTT. Empty the trailer is technically too heavy for a Deuce, loaded it would be unmanageable for one. I'm not sure of the suspension on the M989 but the A1 should have air as you will have the suspension sitting on the lower stops. I've moved mine with the brakes caged but if you supply it air, it will hold it and you can release the brakes with a knowb under the side of the trailer, until the air leaks out and then you will stop.

The M989 has 2 axles under the center of the trailer. They are on leaf springs, and it has air brakes. The trailer weighs around 7000 pounds empty. The M989A1 has 2 axles, one on each end, and air ride suspension. It weighs alot more.
