Jeep heater in a deuce?

I am having trouble locating a decent priced heater for my truck, but found a nos heater for a M38 for $70. Anyone ever tried these in a deuce, and if so how do they perform? Would be mounted inside the cab, passenger side like the A3's and 5 tons. Any reason this wouldn't work? I know without a diverter box it would be heat only, no defrost but I could get creative with the ductwork and rig something up. Seems worth the price for just for the new blower motor/heater core. From the website:

Jeep Heaters have heavy duty heater core. Simple to hook up, your two heater hoses fit over 1/2 pipes and then hook up 1 wire to switch. These are 24 volt but we have sold hundreds of these and found that they work just fine on 12 volt. Perfect for snow plows tractor cabs or jeeps. New. Government Issue.
Measures approx:
15 1/2 in. Long to Longest point
8 1/2 in. to tallest point
8 1/4 in. to widest point

Yes, I've got one, does great! I wired in a double throw switch and wired in a large resistor pack on one leg to get a "hi-off-low" option. The outlet is pointed towards the area between the driver and passenger. The air current causes it to circulate around the cab and back towards the windshield. Does a good job of keeping the cab warm and the windows clear in my truck. (I've got a softtop as well)

Yea I saw that, but I was thinking of turning mine around so it blows toward the seats instead of toward the firewall. Yours blows toward the firewall and still does a good job?

But yet the picture you refer to shows outlet pointed toward firewall, which is why I asked. Nevermind, will figure out myself, sorry for wasting your time...

It's mounted under the dash, like that picture, but the outlet faces between the driver and passenger seat.

I'm not sure why you have the attitude. Like I said before it's mounted like that picture, but the outlet points outwards between the driver and passenger.
Thanks for your help and sorry for the attitude. Thats what I get for drinking and typing. Just was confused because picture showed a different approach than I had planned and I was curious on the results. And since I haven't said it before, good job on keeping this site going, it seems to be a thankless endeavor.;)
