been looking no luck.. dont what to buy another japan starter.. thanks any help your be great
This is of no help to you, but just a couple of days ago I sent an e-mail to CUCV Electric suggesting that they start selling starter rebuild kits and instructions.
I recently purchased a set of their alternator rebuild kits, and my mechanic who works in my shop said that it was a well thought out and quality kit and the rebuild directions from the CUCV Electric web site were very helpful. I am hoping they can sometime in the future have the same for starters.

What starter do you have? the 27MT direct drive or the newer 28MT gear reduction?

ASP Warehouse(above link) does have kits for both. Call them and make sure you get the 24v version. They do not provide instructions as they assume you know what you are doing.

CUCV Electric saw a need for "one stop shopping" for our group and started selling the parts. He has been expanding his parts selection and has always attempted to sell higher quality parts. Just remember that this is NOT his fulltime job and is NOT a brick and mortor store. If there are some delays or issues, work with him to find the solution.

Mayne one day CE may start stocking the starter kits.

FYI The only thing on a CUCV that is 24V is the b/o lights and radio rack, the rest is 12V same as the civ one, but if you still need it
I have 1 too hehe.

Why do you give bogus information like this? Only correct part of your statement is that the radio rack is wired for 24v.
