Thanks.... about to go trail riding and camping next weekend at Golden Mt so i will get to see how the paint will hold up in the woods...
Sounds fun! I just washed my truck pretty well and without all the mud stains I can again see the scratches from all brush I have shoved it through. Ha ha. With that good camo paint job just remember where you parked it!

Heres some pic from over the weekend, shows some of the locals... and results of me... not paying attention.. and sticking front diff on a rock... and finding out, cant power out of it in reverse " especially with a welded rear yoke" which was done the day before this haapened and "hey, theres a short with the winch" after some trial and error, was able to unstick myself and continued on to have an awesome weekend...

After researching abit... I believe the yoke failure was due to a combination of Tennessee Hopping, and Axle wrap. With 52" springs, it does rotate the axle a bit while under a load...

as the original u joint was not damaged.. Decided to go back with factory style yoke, and fabericate a track bar to help emininate axle wrap...

Hello 1ton,

Okay, thank you.. I was wondering what those switches were for,
Those switches under your headlight switch look kinda cool, where do you find those?

Where did you get the tach and how is it wired up? I would like to do the same thing, but I didn't know you could use that type of tach without a lot of work.

Thanks,

Thanks,

Its one i picked up from Summit... Part number is ATM-2697 I got it only because it matched in size and design with the rest of my gauges.... In order for it to work, i also had to get a signal convertor from Dakota Digital... there are several threads on here that discusses tach options... With the Dakota Digital box, you can make any tach ( gas or diesel ) work....

Okay... So i located some killer seats for like 50 bucks... made a trip to junkyard for a seat switch.. and Whala! Power front seats!.... Im not thrilled on the color currently... but for the price... i can live with it until i can get them dyed black and than water proof coated... Went ahead and rigged up some 4 point seat belts too.. now Im starting to mod the rear bench...
