I bought a 1966 Deuce that looks to have a new or rebuiltinjector pump and 4 of 6 injectors. The truck will only rev to about 1600 RPMand has thick white/grey smoke. The truck idles fine, has ran about 4 hrs intwo days with fuel system conditioner and trans fluid with about 10-15 gallonsof diesel fuel. Could the pump have been adjusted wrong, or maybe one of theother injectors are going bad? This is a LD 465-1 non-turbo truck made by Jeep with a Continental. It has 6600 miles and 450 hrs on it.

Also, this truck has a newer/replaced master cylinder and newer metal brakelines. When I fill with brake fluid the system will pressurize good at first, andthen it blows fluid out of the breather line that is connected to the air packthat goes to the top of the master cylinder and is also routed to the blow-bydrain located behind the right front tire engine compartment area.

Not sure on the driveability issues but their is an excellent troubleshooting manual for the multifuel in the TM section that gives a step by step procedure to finding the issue.

The brake fluid coming out is indicative of a blown airpack. Plan on rebuilding/replacing.

Also, the word help capitalized in titles is typically reserved for members who are stranded on the side of the road and need help NOW. I'd edit the title to sound a little more reasonable.

Also, some great advice would be to sit for a few hours and read through older threads. You'll find so much information out there, about the trucks and the way the site works, you'll be an expert in no time.

While new/rebuilt IP is great, it also means someone had his hands in the fuel system and may have mis-timed the pump (can be timed 180 degrees wrong and the truck will still start and run - just not well). I second the troubleshooting manual. You want to verify pump settings and that you get fuel to all injectors and at the right time.
