Registering and Title

I am reading that Iowa does not accept the sf97 from GL to title and register any military vehicles. Not sure if that is correct but I read it here on SS. I recently purchased a 105 and want to title/register for use on the road.

Anyone with experience that can help?

Call your DMV and ask them . Do not trust what you read 2nd hand . It is likely that you will need a sf 97 because it is the title of the property you bought not just a bill of sale. In my state you don't have to register a small trailer and it is the reason they are stolen left and right too. Just call and remember to document who you talked to and what was said to be safe ...... Good luck

But if you were in Ohio you just go to a certified scale and get a weight ticket and take it to the DMV and get it registered. No title for a 101 or 105.
