Difference between m416 and m101 (1/4 ton trailer)

Looking around for 1/4 ton trailers, it looks like there's two that would be ideal. The m416 and the Canadian m101. They look almost identical. My understanding is that the CND M101 has little loops on the back of the trailer, and the bed isn't removable from the frame.

Any other differences? Is one better/more preferable over the other?
Thanks

edit, Is there a manual for the CND M101? I took a look but all I'm seeing is the one for the m416 or the m101 (3/4 ton).

CDN M101 is better built, and well reinforced. It is what the next generation M416 trailer would of been if Uncle Sam would of kept the design. I love mine. Out of all the trailers I own, I actually use my CDN M101 the most.

Are you looking for one to restore to Military spec or one to Expo?

Thanks. Have seen that link before.

One for Expo. Have a line on one that someone already restored. Actually this is my fallback, as there's a custom built expo trailer that I really want and am just trying to work out the details (challenging when I'm up here and it's in Vancouver BC). However my buddy said there's an m416 about an hr from me (I live way up north, so our options are very limited). I'm gonna go take a look at it later this week, but would honestly rather not deal with one that I'll have to put a ton of work/effort into restoring it, and it's really my last fallback option (assuming they'll even sell it).

But my buddy is convinced that there's no such thing as a CND M101 and that it's the exact same thing as a m416 and that the m101 is the big 3/4 ton trailer. Said if I came here and ask about it, I'd get schooled. So naturally I had to come ask about it ;) That and I was curious about the exact differences between them.

The CDN M101 took most of the faults (Not that there are many, but a few) of the US M416 and fixed it. Square "tube" on the top of the bed. No provisions to float it, but 4 drain holes. Beefier frame. thicker bed. Tiedowns in the bed. Sling/tie down points from and rear. Reinforcements on the bed. Those are the major ones.

As long as we're on it,
What are the years of the A1, A2, A3's? We have an A2 that says it's 1960, is that right?
