M923 payload highway

Hello,

where can i find the payload on the highway in the manual?
I cannot find any informations about the payload on the highway. I should have 20000lb?

Also on the data plate on the dash.

You may have to back-into the highway payload. I couldn't find it spelled out in the -10 or on the dash plate of my M929. I did find a table of material weights that listed cross country and highway payloads.

In the table, 20,250 lbs is over rated cross-country and highway payload; 19,238 lbs is only over rated cross-country payload. Knowing that most MVs are rated for their cross-country payload and the highway payload is usually 2X that; I can figure 20,000 lbs is the highway payload of an M929.

Sounds like the OP is looking for supporting documentation. That would be either a table in the TM, or a picture of a data plate that shows a 20,000 lbs higher loaded weight than unloaded.

It also depends on what tires your running, duals or singles.

The 800s showed that rating on the data tag the 900s dont its a US made truck common sense would say it would be rated in US tons

The only thing to do is load the heck out of one and find out

10 -12 tons on my M929 is business as usual....15 tons was too heavy for comfortable driving. Im running 14.00's @90 psi.
