Is it possible whilst leaving the rear/front end connected to the truck? I see the diff cover is welded on...

Don't forget to take a wheel off. That fluid has to drain somewhere.Once you learn the trick to tilting the truck on it's side, it's real easy.

You also need to read the Tecnical Manuals before you start .After you drain it, are you cleaning the diff too? Did you ask the guy you're gettin from if he serviced the axles? Otherwise I would leave it be. Your best bet is to find out exacty what he did. Then I would make plans on what needs to be serviced. Everything is fairly easy on these trucks when it comes to service and repair. Just need the right tools and lots patience. Nice truck though. Congrats to getting your new beast.
