A trip to CAMO to pickup dropside bed

I headed out to Columbus, GA at zero dark thirty this morning to pickup a dropside bed I got in a drug deal (military term for horse trade) from Zout. I arrived before everybody (including the host himself) but the crowd soon arrived. We had a good breakfast (including some excellent SOS) and got to work removing the bed from Zout's new 5 ton cargo truck. They were going to move Zout's camper from his deuce to the 5 ton but I had to get back to FOB Ackenback Acres to meet my fence guy. Here are a few pics.

I wish I had known ya'll were getting together. As a Safety Specialist, I would have advised ya'll to not grab the chains slinging the bed and instructed how to use a "tag line" on a hoisted load to direct it. Of course I would have had a beer in my hand the whole time!!! Man I missed out on some fun and ya'll need to start alerting me. I'm like Adam, I've got more time on my hands due to furloughs and I bring my own beer!!!!

The only reason Adam looked - ahhhh dazzled was that I told him if the 109 box happened to rip apart the shorty school bus would be taken off the chassis and we were going to have to mount that on the 5 ton instead - needed an rv one way or the other - just mount it cab in reverse. But professional training and OJT prevailed.
