Finally got the truck to the yard last week. Thought I would put up some pics for you guys. Truck is missing dash, generator and a bunch of CTIS and brake stuff. That's OK because I bought the truck primarily for the winch system, hood, and a few other parts I could use. So my primary question to you guys who know the M939 series trucks well is, what parts should I absolutely keep for spares? I don't want to get rid of something I should save for my M923.007.jpg006.jpg005.jpg004.jpg008.jpg

Transfer case and transmission. You don't want to go looking for one of either if you need it. Drive shafts are also good to keep. One axle will give you most of the parts for a failure in them as the diffs are all the same. I kept a front and 1 rear axle and all the other parts I mentioned.

Personally I would build that truck back minus CTIS. The parts you are missing are plentiful presently because of all the scrapping going on.
