Does clicking noise come from flasher?

I am assuming that the clicking noise is generated by the turn signal flasher, right?
Turn signals work fine but it stopped making the clicking noise. The boss noticed
and I want to make her happy and fix it.
I checked the -20 but it only troubleshoots whether they flash or not.

I replace mine with a heavy duty that clicks loudly.

I have that same flasher in my Dodge Dually...I couldn't hear the flasher over the Cummins. A NAPA counterman recommended it. The Boss-Lady said now you won't look like an idiot...boy do I have her fooled.
