She is an 84, 50,000 miles on her. Here is a list of the things I want to do





Re adjust headlamps
Pop dents out
Clean engine bay
New headlamp bulb? $5
Doghead relay mod $10
Get dash lights working (fuse?) $10
Get car cover + sun shield? $15
Get new belts $20
Change diff fluid $20
Change tranny fluid $30
Change brakes and re align $50
Rhino line bed and inside of cab $60
Get new dash cap $100
Get vinyl bed cover or shell $2-600
New tires $500
Get winch $600
Re paint matte olive drab $1000
Swap cummins 6bt $3000

Any suggestions on things I missed lemme know, or if you have any easy ways to go about things on the list let me know as well (rhino lining, maintenance etc...). I will post more pictures very soon and as I get things done.

as promised more pictures.. recently i took out the troop seats. those things are heavy btw.. more pictures to come, I am going to herculine the bed via undercoat gun so i am prepping for that (sanding, cleaning, and more sanding) then I am going to paint the grille black.

Thanks Nuke, this is my first cucv got it for $4,800... dunno if thats a good price for these things, but it runs tits and once i get new wheels Im sure all the shaking will stop... where could I get cheap NEW rubber anyways?

I would suggest replacing the atf in the transfer case, power steering fluid and brake fluid. Be aware the brake fluid is more than likely DOT-5. The cheapest way to get DOT-5 is order it online. Who knows the last time the front wheel bearings were greased, so take them apart and check for wear and put in some nice clean grease. Also the kingpins in the front axles tend to be worn out simply by having the weight sit on the bushings for so many years. They will certainly require replacement with the added weight of a 6bt. The 4bt is an easier option in my opinion too. All in all this looks like a neat project though, good luck! :mrgreen:

Hey thanks engine man, i had to replace the master cylinder and the brake fluid when i got it, I flushed and replaced coolant and oil. need to do the power steering, tranny and diff still tho. Thanks for the insight on all the other stuff Im sure I will get around to it eventually haha. I have a question for you guys tho, how mych should I pay for the hmmv beadlock rims? I am gonna try and pick these up for 75 a piece tomorrow... good buy?00l0l_6Be7AEcqSfh_600x450.jpg

I want to get a winch... Don't know what to get so I am asking you guys.. I was leaning towards a warn winch.. But what do you think? Pto winch? I am open to all and any ideas! Lemme know

I don't if you got it fixed already but the kingpin bushings fixed my wobble nicely especially for the 30 bucks it cost

yea I have a nice little wobble going on mostly becasue of my rotten tires and probably kingpins as well.. the kingpins and or bushings are going on the list.
