A3 transmission questions

What is your red line? The cat 3116 is red lined at 2,750 rpm. I checked my A3 with 14.00 x 20 XZL, 2,800 rpm is 60 mph, 60 mile markers in 60 minutes.
Honestly I can't tell you at the moment. Mark was driving and with his foot to the floor on level-ish road my gps fluttered between 58-59. I wasn't watching the tach.

That's probably an exception, and not the rule. Single trucks do not constitute a convoy.
I have passed several small National Guard convoys here in Florida recently doing close to 65 MPH on I -95. These were mostly M923 or M935 trucks with big single tires, and also some HMMWVs.
