Commander, I would tell you everything looks great but I know you are tired of hearing that by now since all your stuff looks great. Swiss, you are very lucky to have him available for your projects. :driver:

Never sure on stuff when you build it for someone else - always have to keep an open ear to what they REALLY want and are looking for. Bad habit to get into is doing what you think they want instead of what they want - have to always keep asking questions and showing pics and keep open for their suggestions. Such was this last case to save any last minute issues once the box was mounted and external equipment installed on.

Friday I expect to get onto the bolt down of the box - and get those e tracks installed and onto final blasting of the bow and fuel can holder - get out and sweep up some one shot blasting media to save some money and sift it out to re-shoot it.

Sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes Tinwoodsman I am thankful humbled on this Thankgiving Holiday to have Commander Z working on my trailer. I have learned a tremendous amount talking, watching and many times sitting in the garage being put to work. Dave represents the true spirit of a fine Steel Solider member, helpful, intelligent, funny as sh...t and knowledgeble.

We are all blessed that he shares the amount of detail that he does with everyone. It is not easy to document step by step and then download from the camera, then upload to the computer and then post to the thread.

BIG THANKS ZOUT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zout, the more I see that paint job the more beautiful it gets. I never would have thought of using pop rivets for the tracks and I certainly never would have thought of welding that Budweiser can to the wheel well. Quite a interesting touch.

Stay Tuned

TWM - I got the Bud contract back for sponsorship - never thought of just welding it in but I bet they would like that. Might as well stick one on each top of the bows EH:jumpin:

Here ya go Nick.
Fuel can mounts are mounted
Pioneer rack just hung up to get the SOB out of my walkway (I move around a lot).

24v plug hook re-mounted.
Spare blasted - sprayed and hung.

Here is the underside finally for ya fellas.
Got my second project almost finished up - new hubs/rotors/calipers and still have to order up a brake like for the RR I busted taking apart. Then bleed out the master cyl on the surge brake system. I'll probably be getting 5 new tires shortly to get mounted up - then put her into OD green like a good trailer should be relieving itself of them Budget decals as well - the info decals will be left on.
Here are some picsPhoto3335.jpgPhoto3336.jpgPhoto3337.jpgPhoto3338.jpgPhoto3339.jpgPhoto3340.jpgPhoto3341.jpgPhoto3342.jpgPhoto3343.jpgPhoto3344.jpg

Well lets do a check of projects this year:

1972 Chevelle Malibu body work restored
1964 Mustang body work restored
1942 WC kinda screwed it up but got it done anyhow
Swiss CUCV - even tho we had some events with it from spray cans
1992 BMY conversion to M909
1955 M38A1 Clutch replaced for Dinger65
Swiss trailer now nearly completed (where is the GRID ?)
2000 Tandem axle car transporter - needs tires and paint yet - it is now assigned designator M909 ATC (accessory transport carrier)

See if we can get that hitch done by the end of the year as well for the M909 that all the steel is here for.

What did you do this year 2013.

Nick - check out the top of each fender - but yet with enough clearance for your tarp cover - the fender stick out far enough for support without extending beyond the total width ???? check it out - lay them up there and look at it.

ANYHOOOOO - got the M909 ATC into OD today and took advantage of the weather - how sweet it is - add this baby to the list above.Photo3351.jpgPhoto3352.jpgPhoto3353.jpgPhoto3354.jpgPhoto3355.jpgPhoto3356.jpgPhoto3357.jpgPhoto3358.jpgPhoto3359.jpgPhoto3360.jpg
