I bought a M1028 awhile back and this was in the floor board.. Can anyone identify it for me

Looks like a plow cylinder for a Meyers plow .

Surprised no one said check the tech manuals....or post 1980 kinnibling pin....or pre 1985 johnson rod...

I am going to have to go with plow angle cylinder too.

It would be pretty obvious its a hyd. cylinder IF it had hyd. fittings on it. I dont see them. looks like some sort of pto driveshaft extention to me

If he rolls it over I bet there is a hole in the side , these are Meyer cylinders .

Does your M1028 have a plow mount on it, or signs of one before like marks from removed bolts or cut welds?

Ah, in the OP's pic that part in the shadow on the right looks like it has splines. Seeing your pic of the new ones I can see they have no splines.
