A better cup holder

For 6 years I knew I needed something. A decent cup holder. Most of us have the same problem. Well today I got around to fixing the problem. I used left over scrap steel 1 inch wide by 1/8 inch thick steel strap and some expanded steel from an earlier project. Total build time was a hour. My passengers still have to hold thier drinks but at least I can safely put mine down now.

I don't know why they are flipped. They're straight on my phone and on my computer.

Looks pretty sharp! I use a roll of duct-tape laying down.

Ditto. Holds my favorite "Mickey D Sweet T" cups and won't turn over if you have a full roll.

I set it right by the shift tower in the M927.

YES! The heat slightly melts the exposed adhesive on the duct tape, bonding it to the floor. If you get the cups that have the indentation on the bottom, they stay put.
