Garrett, aka Jeepsinker here, picked up an M931A2 I won out of Fort Polk for me; he did some work on her to get her roadworthy and parked her on his property awaiting my pickup. Garrett was very honest and helpful, he answered all of my questions and was very patient with my nitpicky inquiries. After meeting him, I found out that he is a very competent mechanic and is very familiar with the full run of M939-series trucks as well as many others.

Garrett showed me his M936A2 wrecker he uses to recover military trucks from various bases/posts; it is quite impressive and I unhesitatingly endorse him for anything any member here might need from him. He is very safety-conscious, and showed me various trucks he has towed with his wrecker. He is a very skilled & knowledgeable mechanic and breakdown specialist, as well as very helpful.

Most of all, Garrett very graciously gives us SS members unbeatable rates for recoveries and mechanical work; for this I am deeply indebted to him. He only asked for a token amount to help cover his fuel there & back, and I got much more in return for his services.

If you utilize his services for recoveries, transports, mechanical repairs/work, etc...I am confident that you won't be disappointed. Garrett was confident that my truck would make it back to Utah via Las Vegas, NV, and it did (while towing my Deuce with a towbar).

Thank you very much Garrett, I truly appreciate your generosity, time, and effort!

Great to hear! He'll be dropping my M923A2 off next week. Maybe I can buy him lunch to point out any major issues that might not be obvious to a newby 5 ton owner.

You won't be disappointed, I can guarantee it! I took him to lunch and was more than happy to do so; I doubt that he'd turn you down. He's a great guy, you'll be happy!
