So hypothetical, if the batteries were low, could another car jump off a 24v truck with some jumper cables?

If it is a CUCV, just jump from one battery and it should work just fine.
I have not tried this, so I cannot say for sure.

Scroll down and read the threads that should have come up with a search(hypothetically).

Hypothetically, yes.

Without understanding what your doing, you could damage your battery, truck, and yourself.

Specific questions are much easier to answer.

It's hypothetical. No specifics available.

Guess and answer accordingly.

If both battery's are dead no. If both battery's are weak probably especially if you let each charge a little individually first. If one battery is weak or dead absolutely if you hook the jumpers to the weak or dead battery. You can't operate a 24 volt system with a 12 volt battery but you can replace each 12 volt battery with jumpers from another 12 volt battery. Hook the cables to the battery posts only, do not hook the ground to the 24 volt vehicle frame or engine because then you will pick up 24 volts and blow up the 12 volt battery and injure anyone standing close. I have had 24 volt tractors since the 1960's and have jumped them many times.

I have jumped my m1009 with my jeep commander .. Just hook up the cable to one battery only and it might take a few mins but it will work .. You could also use a battery charger/ jump-starter and a car to jump both battery or using two 12v cars each one connected to one battery will do the truck as well

If the truck is low enough it should be able to jump off, however the landing may be a little rough....

Couldn't resist. Maybe a better wording would be "jump start". ;-)

If the "JUMPING " vehicle has ANY computer controls I would be VERY CAREFUL , you may end up with the dreaded " COMPUTER FLAMEOUT" in the vehicle . How would that work , you jump one because of a dead battery and then have to use that one to tow the other VEHICLE ? aua
