Hoping I haven't made a bad decision. I'm in need of a not-fancy truck to use for Home Depot trips, hauling tree branches away, moving and whatever other regular things a homeowner or land owner needs a truck for. I liked the idea of a diesel for the better economy to comparable trucks my price range. Also, it's a straight, mean looking truck that I'll have to take off road some time.

It seems to have been decently maintained with only little surface rust. Hoses and belts seemed fresh. Fuel filter looks fairly new and so does a silver thing on the firewall that has wires going to it behind the master cylinder. That being said, it has a fuel leak. I'm hoping and praying for the best.

Truck was originally at Fort Hood, and auctioned last March according to the title. I bought it from the 2nd owner who said he hasn't done anything to it and kept it on his land in South Texas.

Anyways, I'll pick it up tomorrow. Few teaser pics.

Sent in PM. Wasn't sure if I wanted it posted openly or not. I didn't think of it possibly being a 1028.

The markings on the side say:

LOGISTICS
Director of Logistics
Maintenance Division

Also shows what appears to be the globe with a HUGE Texas taking up much of the USA. I'll have to keep that.

It's somewhat blacked out, but not really.

I imagine the guy I bought it from uses these message boards. Wouldn't be too surprised. I get the feeling he buys and resells lots of these. He said he has a M101A trailer and you can partly see the red vintage military fire truck in his driveway he's also selling.
