Just as the title says, I AN NOT a cucv fan, after to day I am even LESS of a fan, I would set the 09 on fire but for the fact the gas that that I would pour on it (1/2 gal.) is worth more then the 09.
Well anyway with me knowing NOTHING about cucvs electrics including WHAT the G/P card LOOKED like, so I found the card I THOUGHT, nope wrong card (low water something), so looked some more, found another card, looked about right, had the right number wires, pulled it, nope, wrong card (WRONG color wires) NO idea what it goes to, put it back, so stood on my head under the dash, FOUND the correct card holder (has the correct number and color wires, Now I CAN NOT get the POS free of its mounting bracket on the steering column under dash mount, the TM say "to change G/P controller card, remove holder from bracket, remove top, remove card and replace" there is KNOW WHERE in the -20 OR -34 that tells you how to do that.

I can fix about ANYTHING on a big truck or even on a little truck, but we are talking REAL trucks, NOT a make believe truck that was designed by MORRONS, can you all feel my cucv LOVE.

It's warranted. As much dung as you talk about CUCVs, it's not surprising that they will fight you every inch of the way.

The pin stuck in the steering column bracket has the usual two wings on it that can be squeezed together and pushed back through the hole. Or, that pin has sort of a rectangle head on it, that fits into a slot on the case that holds the GP card. The case *should* just slid up and off that pin, depending on the orientation, etc. I can slide mine off, but its a pain to slide it back on, so I wind up pulling the pin out, sliding it onto the case, and then sticking it back in its hole.

Find a 10 year old to do it... they fit under the dash much better and have smaller hands!

any chance you could post a picture of what your set up looks like? mine was just a simple tie strap and flip open type deal so not sure where your problem might lie without seeing how your trucks setup. you could install a manual push button, I did eventually even after buying and installing a new card.
