I am in the final stages of completing a total restoration of an M1028a2 that I have taken back to the M1008 platform. I am looking for a complete M1008 Cargo Frame Components assembly as documented in the TM9-2320-289-34P CUCV manual in FIGURE 231 on page 530 of the referenced manual. I see bits and pieces scattered about on eBay, but I would like to find the complete assembly. It would not be outside the realm of possibility to fabricate this rail system from scratch if I could find the specification for all of the listed components. Of course, I would prefer to find the components themselves and not spend 2 years researching and fabricating something that I can buy a whole lot cheaper. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you post those pics? I am not TM friendly, but I know a guy that has a complete set of troop seats. Would what your looking for be part of the troop seats?

Do you still have the bed and or dually fenders/dually rims/rear 70 axle on-hand? are any for sale?

And data plate for M1028A2.
Sorry. The rear dually axle, rims and tires were exchanged out for the SRW components. If you private message me I will provide you with the contact information of the guy that now has them. With regard to the data plate, the drivers door has been replaced from an M1009. The data plate is from the M1009.

Sorry for the delayed response, I have had a heavy travel schedule lately. The troop seats might be a nice "bonus feature" if the price is attractive. Figure 231 pic from the TM has been added in the post following this one. My son and I are attempting to hike all 46 Adirondack High Peaks. I have been restoring this CUCV to use as our primary vehicle for camping when we go on these hikes. My thinking is to attach the cargo rail system to the CUCV (the framework that holds the canvas cargo cover) and then purchase a Cargo Cover... which are readily available. Once the cargo cover system is on the CUCV, we will use it as our "tent" for sleeping and portable campsite.
So long story short, I am looking for the framework that the canvas covers.

Are you asking about the cargo cover or the rails that go below the cargo cover pivot, which the cargo cover attaches to?
Tim, thank you for posting the pic of Figure 231 from the TM, I greatly appreciate that. I am actually looking for the entire assembly ... cargo cover pivots, straps, pins, rails, and assembly hardware. The cargo covers (canvas) are pretty easy to find.
Again fabricating pieces is an option if I can find an assembly that is missing a piece or two. From what I am told, there is a resource that has the build specification of any part based on its part number.
