So I'll feel like a jerk if someone has already posted about this sorry in advance but today started having my brake pedal travel to floor when I turn and it comes back when I stop turning but it's not consistent just very random when I'm turning I checked fluid it's good my hydra booster has a little tiny amount of sweat coming off the bottom so I'm thinking it's that but not sure it's that or my actual brakes fluid could be brake fluid but I can't tell if it's power steering or brake fluid I'm a little scared dont have the money for something pricy right now any advice or ideas would be greatly appreciated thanks Nick

I would say yes its the hydro boost they are not to pricey (here anyway)and can find a good one now n then at a wrecking yard too.
The steering fluid is redish I color I also need to ask if you are using dot 5 fluid in brakes? mv's use it not dot 3 like your car.
NEVER mix them it will cause seals to fail in brake parts.

No the brake fluid is a little low I gotta get some dot 5 .. But I'm thinking it's my hydra booster might just replace both booster and master cylinder just to not leave it to chance .. And I'll probably replace all the hoses they show signs of some small leaks

I see ok you can change to dot 3 (less cost) but need to change (or rebuild) ALL brake parts m/c calipers wheel cyl's etc and flush out steel lines.
A good idea to change both too even if staying with dot 5 fyi make sure when you order the master to tell them its for dot 5 the seals are different.

Where did you get the Master Cylinder and what part number did you use for DOT 5 unit? Thanks in advance, DMLII sends
You know I could not find a straight answer on it but what I came to read is if you start the master cylinder off with dot5 you're ok so that's what I did I'll look for the part number today I just went to my local o'reilly auto parts for a 1984 chevy blazer 6.2 and payed 30 bucks for it so I was happy the only difference in the two is this one the front brake reservoir is up front of the master cylinder and on my old it's the other way around so i had to switch my brake lines . The other thing I did was buy a couple bottles of the dot 5 and flush my lines because the old fluid was nasty the dot 5 was more than my master cylinder. So if you have any questions if you decide to do this let me know I'm more than happy to send my help feel free to message me I'll go look right now for the part numbers goodluck
