The COE is a funky/cool/ugly truck as it is. Add on that almost rococo brush guard and you elevate the thing to high art. I look forward to seeing it get its most distinguishing characteristic back.
Funky - yes, cool - yes, UGLY - NO...not anymore! Well...OK, maybe a little, but you gotta admit, she's come a long way towards being beautiful!!:jumpin:

I agree...that grill guard makes ya stand back and say...HMMMMM!!![thumbzup]

Oh...and what does rococo mean??

Tin - you were probably around when rubber was invented

Anyhow - cool pics PB early stages of the K-18 and history is a GOOD thing - reminds of where we need to be at times in life.

Got the sides and nose all tacked off - wiped it down a couple times and then blew it off and went to town on it. Not happy with two sections and no surprise to me now that I am working with a 1/2 air compressor - oh well we'll just deal with it and scuff er down and do it again - practice makes perfect I hear.

Here are some pics for ya all go gauk at and drool wishing it was yours and not PB'sIMG_1439.jpgIMG_1440.jpgIMG_1441.jpgIMG_1442.jpgIMG_1443.jpgIMG_1444.jpg

Rubber, I remember when me and the Good Lord were creating dirt.

CZ, Are there mounts for blackout light? I dont recall seeing locations for them in any pics I've seen.

I HATE WOOD - thus endith the lesson.

Tin - the blackout lights are mounted to the top of the headlights - only one survived it time in this world - pics of the tail lights were many posts in the past on this thread and we still need a set of WW2 tail lights DONATED to the cause.

New pump for my big compressor getting ordered tomorrow - really fubars up spraying and reason for one area on the K I am totally not satisfied with - and I sure do not want to spray any more $$$$$$$$$$ paint till I know its good - but eh - that's just me. If it does not pass my inspection I sure as H am not passing my work onto a customer which at this point is PB. Much more to do till then anyhow. If I am bored I can always go clean Adams M37 awaiting room in the garage as the next project after that Suzuki is done (almost done with the 3m bonding adhesive) and into pearl paint.

There's some help on the compressor on the way Bro and maybe enough for a six pack from your favorite sponsor.[thumbzup]

I can't imagine which panel you are not satisfied with as she looks amazing to me!

If Adams M37 is the next project does that mean you don't want to do the GPA I'm buying tomorrow??:papabear:

Tin - lights mount into the back wall at the bottom - hole on right & left bottom. The L brackets are inside and attached to the back channel I replaced - then the lights protrude and nearly flush with the back wall (kinda like how a jeep light mounts on the back).

Try to get started on the cab two glass frames seeing how my little work table is still set up - probably stay up till the dang windshield is done (trying not to think about that windshield yet). Got the inside of the cab to start getting done as well and pull that radiator - its loose - just gotta pull it.

Zout, do you want me to pick up the radiator and get it done here or do you want to have it checked/flushed up there? Your call.:D

I guess we will need to get a couple of 6V lights from John at MWMV as the best I remember those are shot out.

Trying to work out with my vendor getting the radiator done - also reason its not pulled yet and the fuel tank I can send to the same vendor to have that cleaned and epoxy coated as well - hang tight.

Tin PM'd me about some possible lights - I need to send him a pic of them tonight when I get home and see how this plays out. Thanks TIN - you da man.

roflNA - but ya gotta admit it was FUNNY AS CHIT to try to pull it on ya again rofl

Anyhow now that I am done screwing around for a couple seconds - got the cab windows tore down and a lot easier than the side glass - I have ONE good piece to get a sample cutting from and I have it loaded up.

Yes I took out that windshield and seeing how I cannot pull a joke on PB - I just set the dang windshield on FIRE just to get even - it was funnier lighting the match and being here in person than just looking at a pic of it. PB -I have MORE matches LEFT [thumbzup].

Tore the busted down froze up compressor pump off seeing how the new one is shipping today (hopefully get this by the weekend - but I know better than to hope and wish for chit).
Forgot to take a pic of the tail light for TIN - SORRY - But Deb had a bottle of FRESH CROWN in her hand and you know how us GA MAFIA fellas like Crown. His trucks not going anywhere soon anyhow rofl.

Suppose to thunderstorm out again tonight so tomorrow night I will be spending my time shoveling my yard out of the front of the garage once again - unless the seals show up for the roll up back windows - that last regulator will just not break free - I have more matches and tomorrow night IT goes on FIRE.IMG_1445.jpgIMG_1446.jpgIMG_1447.jpgIMG_1448.jpgIMG_1449.jpgIMG_1450.jpgIMG_1451.jpgIMG_1452.jpgIMG_1453.jpgIMG_1453.jpg
