Does anyone who has installed a cab reinforcement plate know how this bracket installs ? and has a picture of it installed. Actually there are two brackets I need to know about. Here's there pictures. The instructions are clear as MUD as too how this goes on. Thanks, rustystud.

I've got the same kit NOS out in my garage waiting for me to get at it. I looked at the instructions, and you're right - clear as mud. You can see where that z-bracket part on the left goes, but not how it gets installed. I think I'm going to classify that part as "optional."

The "Z" bracket goes in the RH forward upper side of the cab (almost behind the dash mount bolt IIRC). The other sits on top of the (I believe RR) cab where the top sits on it.

Silly question, but is this an add-on or do all cabs already have them?
The M35A3s came with them already installed. Most other M35s had them installed for gun rings. They're great for stiffening the cab up. I still have a few if anyone is interested but be warned it costs as much to ship them as it does to buy one.

If you have a cab in good condition, these will help keep it that way. They help reduce flex and vibration even if you don't have a gun ring.

I bought mine from you ! Great price and shipping didn't seem too bad either.

001.jpg005.jpg I'm sorry I didn't take more pictures of the install. I predrilled all the holes on the plate outside the cab on a carpenter horse. Much easier that way. Then after getting it in the right position I just had to drill out the top middle hole and rivet it to keep it in place. I have a air-powered riveter so the only hard part was the drilling. The insulation I got from "Home Depot" . It's a 2 inch heavy foam insulation.
