Its funny but at the auction there happened to be 40+ M1070s all at the same location and date. By far the largest amount I had seen at one time, but only 3 or 4 had this writing on them and although it surely wasnt the only thing I was basing my bids on but I did want one with the crazy cyrillics on it.

Now what I wanna really know is what is the mpg and top speed on highest gear lowest rpm (I call it a poormans cruze) on that thing?

Like my M927 does 40 mph at 1200 or 1300 rpm on 5th gear.

2300 - 2500 rpm is really sounds high, top speed on M927 goes to 60-65 around 1800 to 2000 rpm at 5th gear, but lowest rpm I can hold is 40 mph 1300 rpm on 5th on a flat hwy, if I go below 1300 than drops to 4th gear, so I am searching for that lowest (economical) sweet spot on M1070 HET.What is 485 ph is it 4.85 gal per hour? Which would make 9 mpg if it is a 48.5g per hour OMG 1 mpg.

Sorry, u set my phone down and my daughter got ahold of it. Top speed is 45-48 mph. I've only ran JP8 for fuel; and that give you a range or 370-ish miles on 270 gallons. Economical and HET aren't terms that are used together very well, lol.

Ouch lol 1.37 mpg, Well I guess a tank will burn more, other than destroying the roads.

M1070 one we are talking about here is not an A1 am I right.I know a guy in Houston TX who I inquired before for the same HET and he said he can put a Speed Adapter to transmission and which will raise the speed of the truck 30%, and he said he can do to any other truck also, so 30% over 45 mph will be like 58 mph top speed and that sounds to me is 30% more fuel millage, which dont take my word for it, I am not as technical. And I dont know what will happen to HP, but 500HP feels like would not make any difference.If any one interested PM me your number and I will ask him to call you. So you can get more info, he got a professional shop for transmissions.

Are you saying M1070-A1 has 700 HP?

This is correct, and I believe it has like 1,900 foot pounds of torque.
