Why am I getting all these snarky comments?
Please clarify which ones you feel as "snarky". I didn't see any that I would take that way.

Maybe the posters can clarify, if you point them out.

Yes I did,why wouldn't I have done this,I have support brackets for DD starters and GR starters..Why am I getting all these snarky comments?
Do you realize how threads and posts there have been about broken starters and bolts only to have the OP say "what brace?". The folks here are just looking out for you. After all, to us you are just words on a screen. :D

RSH4364, I had a cheap chinese starter with what sounds like some of the same issues. I could not get one of the bolts to go in past the knurled area when I would install them in the block. I could see on the starter housing where the bolt was hittng and used a round file to clearance it, it worked fine. I know AC units can be expensive if your on a budget. Try Hillbilly wizard, his prices are great on rebuilt AC units, cheaper than even the china stuff.
