m101A1 Lunette Flip

I searched and saw many posts on flipping a M105 lunette but none on a M101 or M101A1

I am selling a M101A1 with the 9.00 x 16 tires and the buyer wants a lower profile on the tongue.

Can the lunette be flipped like the M105's ?

Can anyone who has done a m101 give me input or possible pics and measurements of what it did for you?

Yes it can be flipped the same as an m105a2.

If you are willing to lose the factory landing leg and fabricate a new one, you can flip the entire nose assembly. Did that to mine to match the hitch on my pickup at the time.

The buyer is thinking of doing the exact same thing. It does not have a leg at the moment as I added a tounge swivel jack.

Here is a pic of what I did. Made a bracket for the leg from some 3" angle I had picked up a while back at the scrap yard because it looked useful. The jack was a Northern Tool on sale special. Had to add one hole to the plate the lock rod slides through. Kept the original leg in case I ever wanted to flip it back to original.
