Injector line stuck in injector?

I did some searching and didn't see anything that fits. I'm working on a deuce that the #1 injector line will NOT come out of the injector. I managed to remove it from the head so I could accomplish what I need to do and I can probably get it back in, but I would like to replace some of the injector lines and this would be one of them. Anyone have any idears?

Soak it in kroil. Maybe a few raps on the side of the injector with a brass hammer. There's nothing on the end that should be holding it in. At least if the nut came all the way out.

I soaked it with atf. The nut is backed way off. Its not my truck so I want to make sure it runs before adding any expense. I plan on putting it back in before fuching it up. Once it runs and a replacement found, its game on.

I have a few old injector lines. I'll have to check and see which ones. I believe I already gave away #1. Anyways your welcome to them. I make no promises on them though. Kinda why I put 6 new ones on my truck.

I'm not sure strait atf is a small enough molecule to penetrate rust. I have heard a 50/50 mix of acetone and atf works pretty well.

Yup, me too. I just happened to be out of acetone at the moment. ATF sitting for a while tends to work its way in to loosen stuff. It has worked well for me for years.

+1 on ATF. I've used it for years as a general lube or mixed with acetone and kerosene as a gun bore cleaner and general penetrant (Ed's Red http://www.frfrogspad.com/homemade.htm). But recently some young guy dared me into a side by side test with PB Blaster. I would NEVER have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes.

The Blaster really did outdo my Ed's Red.

I will always keep a gallon of acetone, a gallon of kerosene and a couple quarts of ATF in my shop, but now I'm keeping some PB blaster there as well.

Install the injector back in the head, connect it to the hydraulic head, then fire the motor up and let the fuel pressure blow the line out. It'll make a bit of a mess, but it should work.
