Transfer case interlock

I believe there is a post on here about this from a few months back. Did you try searching? Sometimes there not to bad to find. Sometimes there a bear.

R if it a wet paper bag I could not find my way out I never have luck searching.

I believe this valve is putting pressure in the case and pushing gear oil into air filter and is the culprit for my truck not holding air when shut down.

You can hear air in intake stack along with a gurgling sound along with the 90 weight oil in filter I supect this valve as the trouble maker.

Nope not any of those were helpful.
Has anyone had this valve off ?
Is there a way for air to go through valve into case ?

What is the correct name for the valve from the TM ?
Using the correct name will improve your google search function greatly.

If you're talking about the transfer case interlock air solenoid, it can and does pressurize the transfer case when the seal stops sealing. I disconnected the air feed to mine and capped both the solenoid and the air line. The spring inside does a good enough job on its own to keep the lever from moving when it shouldn't.

Sorry bud but the spring inside of the interlock keeps it unlocked, that is why if you have a hard shifting TC we say to bleed the air off and the spring will unlock it.
