Any one know where I can get battery vent caps for a 6tmf ?

I dropped one of my caps. I looked for over an hour. it's gone. Any idea where I can get one ? I don't want to replace a 300$ battery not to mention I'm screwed tomorrow. I shoved a plastic cap in the hole for tomorrow but don't like the idea of not having the proper vented cap. They screw in. The big square factory Mil battery.
Just my luck I had the old one from the truck laying around for almost 3 yrs. I just scrapped it a few weeks ago....

Stop by were you scrapped the old one, they are SAE any screw cap will work.

lol...not likely to find it...we got about 3 ft of snow around here since.
They look like the same ones old Mack and Cat batteries had.

Think my temp fix will hold for tomorrow ? Not in love with not having the proper vented cap.

I had the same thing happen on M998. With good light and a stick with duct tape I was able to retrieve it. Don't know where you dropped it but it still could be in the battery box. Good luck
