If you have never been around one,I find it helps with the question of "How big is this thing? " Been around the Duce and other ones but I still need to work it out in my head and in real "Model" space.

I haven't built models in a long time (I mean decades), but that is a seriously detailed kit. Real nice.

I was thinking about the model making, and the architectural training I had, and realize that people that get all their learning form books are missing an element of education. Working with your hands engages the brain in crucial ways, that's part of the fun of "wrenching" (and also model-making).

Well today's auction was more like it. Low of $5500 to a high of $9000 Most were runners. All back East but atleast the price are in the right place. I will keep watching. Shipping was to high. Most want $4000+ and I'm not ready with mt truck yet.

One that I was looking at and thought would go for big bucks, didn't ! Go figure. Wish I could have pulled the trigger. Next time.

This thing is a bitch for my old hands and eyes. Been on the floor trying to find dropped parts ! I have, found them all but ???

Some detail ! Painting it for civy use .

The detail in that model is impressive. It looks like there is almost an individual corresponding part for each component of the vehicle.

That will make for a great reference tool to have in hand when needed. Please keep us posted. [thumbzup]
