I know this is a super old thread, but I'm restoring an M5 bomb trailer and wondered if you still have them? Thanks!Trying to find what 7.50 x 18 tires fit. Looks like the M-5 bomb trailer used them. I have 4 n.o.s. of them that I picked up. The beads don't look like they will fit on a regular rim.
I rarely get rid of stuff, still have them up on the shelf. Do they look like they are the kind you are looking for?I know this is a super old thread, but I'm restoring an M5 bomb trailer and wondered if you still have them? Thanks!
They are the right size and I would rather use the appropriate vintage military stock than modern, this will be a display/slow speed unit in the end. What is the width across the bead? I have the original rims and they measure about 5" at the bead, I expect the tires have pulled in from storage all these years but airing up a tube on the inside should bring them to the right width.I rarely get rid of stuff, still have them up on the shelf. Not sure they are actually for that cart but its what I found referenced on the web
let me get one down off the rack and take a look. the contour of the bead bothers me as it looks different form a modern tire bead. Thanks for getting back with me!
