Well, ya can't turn your 5 ton truck into a 2 1/2 ton truck very easily. LOL
I have an M931-A2, with a cut down full size cargo bed. Maybe that's what you're meaning, and that's probably the easiest route to get a cargo bed on your tractor frame.

Lol! No way wanna keep 5 ton. But yes that's exactly what I wanna do. Put a back on it and the canvas top. Possible troop benches also. You did yours?

Just buy M35 bed clean off everything from back of cab back and add bed.

I have a shortened 5 ton bed that a fab'ed for my M932a2. I'm looking to remove it and swap back to a 5th wheel hitch. PM me if you are interested in it. I'm also in Jersey.

Unless -TurboMustang370I' already has a cover made for that bed your going have to have a cover cut down to fit . If you go with a deuce bed cover are available . Just something to look at in overall costs.

That's another option. Im thinking that's gonna be a lot more difficult and more expensive also.
