12 v ?

Why does the factory wireing pull 12v.from rear batt.neg.instead of front batt.pos.When both are 12v.? The reason I ask is I just rewired my 12v.power junction and glowplug solenoid from front batt.12v.pos.

80,000 CUCVs with a savings of 1' of wire each means they saved 14.87 miles (yes, miles) of cable. I've never priced cable by the mile but would imagine its costly.
