Hey all,
Im having an issue with my brake system.
1st let me state that I have good #5 dot fluid, wheel cylinders are not leaking, new air handler, all air lines are tight with no leak down.
What would be causeing me to have to pump the pedal 5to 10 times to get a stiff brake pedal.I have to do this every time I use the brakes.:?::?:auaauaauaaua:?:
And no im not using the vehicle until this issue is solved.
Thanks in advance for any help

When I bought my deuce it had the same problem. I replaced the master cylinder then I started bleeding the brakes and one of the wheel cylinders blew out while I was bleeding them. Then I replaced all the wheel cylinders. Now my brake pedal is rock hard 5 inches from the floor. The truck stop very good now.

It could be one of the brake pad keeper bolts came free. I found that on a truck Crusher bought. The guy kept putting master cyls and air packs on it thinking "it couldn't be the brakes".
