I believe it's self bleeding the pump and reservoir are one. Are you having an issue with yours? If you see puffs of "smoke" coming up then your internal pump seal is bad and will need to be rebuilt. There is a thread on it.

That's not my issue. My issue is after rebuilding the pump the cab doesn't want to raise, and when it did, it didn't want to drop back down. Making wonder if there is air trapped inside

I would think if there's air in there, it would nearly fall back down . Same issue with the hand pump?

it doesn't raise only to a certain point, so Yes I am sure there is air in there, but how to get it back out?
And yes, the same with the hand pump otherwise I'd think it's the air lift pump

You can try to unloosen the fittings at the cab lift cylinder and see if air or oil comes out, pretty much like bleeding the brake line on a car. If you have air in the cylinder most of it will come back to the reservoir when you extend/retract the cylinder all the way, it has to move all the way in and out to clear it. If it's not raising all the way, check your oil level when it stops moving.

Maybe run it with the reservoir cap off. If there is air in there one would think the space taken by air would be exchanged for fluid and the reservoir level would go down a bit. I took mine off and no air got in the system I didn't have to bleed it when I put the new one back on.

Does anyone have any idea where the rebuild on this pump is?
