M35A2 Transmission Inspection Plate Missing: Replacement?

I was able to snag an M35A2 at auction. One of the known issues with this Deuce is a missing clutch inspection cover plate. It is just gone. My "searchfoo" must be weak because I can only come up with the gaskets for the cover, not the cover itself. I can also find the PTO cover plate. It wouldn't be so easy that they are the same part/dimensions?

Anyone know where I might be able to pick one up?

If a member doesn't have one C & C or Eastern Surplus will. May not be new but should be a good take off.

I'd just buy a gasket and make one or find a metal fabricator and have one made. You can use the gasket as a template.

I had thought about that. Its purpose is to keep stuff out rather than keep stuff in, correct? Keeps everything water tight if you ford a stream or run through deep muck.
