FAV- fast attack vehicle prototype

Thanks! I'm not sure about a daily driver, but I will drive it on the road.. It's hard to figure out what the parts are.. I mean, the ball joints for example- they are off of a civilian vehicles, but I have no clue what! Same with the steering rack.. (The rack is damaged, and needs to be replaced) but that is the joys of a prototype! It will be a very long road, but it will be worth it! My goal is for it to be completely done in time for the 2018 MVPA convention that the KILROY club (that I am Vice President of) will be hosting in Louisville, KY again! (I'm kind of excited if you can't tell) lol
Ok. Cool.

Ball joints, tie rode ends, shocks, stuff like that Napa will be your friend. Just take the old one in and they will usually help to find a match. Just go to a old Napa (motor part and bearings) and the will usually help you.
If your ever down my way when it's done holler and I'll get out the RZR and we can go ride.

I might have to check out Napa.. They are all chain stores around here, but if you get the right guy (usually the older guy lol) you can find some stuff

My goal is to make it to the GA rally one day, maybe I'll see you there!

On a recent trip to look over a military vehicle armor collection, I stumbled across this little Beauty tucked over beside the building..
It was a prototype and we believe only 2 were ever built!
It was built by Continental motors
And has a BMW m21 diesel. Dodge k-car transaxle turned sideways, and BMW differentials front and rear to make it 4x4. It's kinda rough, but really cool!

I have seen small eagle tugs built for the military the same way Chrysler 3 speed transaxle attached to a perkins diesel engine

Would love to connect. I actually own the other vehicle and just completing a complete restoration and upgrade. I have a some history in them and would like to learn what you know about the vehicle. Just a few photos of the restoration and should be done in the next few weeks.

We just completed the restoration of #2 of 3. This vehicle was originally developed by Teledyne Continental Motors, Terrestrial Propulsion Division in 1984 as a Lightweight, Highly Mobile Weapons Carrier, Reconnaissance and Scout Vehicle Prototype (“LFV”) for the United States Military. Identified as Serial Number 3SF5626-501-002 by Teledyne Continental Motors. This was the second prototype made. Only two others known to remain in the world (and both don’t run). She is now Street Legal and tearing up the streets.
