Anybody try out the soft Ambulance top from SG?

I seen to recall someone posting a pic and saying the pillars and bows are different and the top doesn't fit right. I would like to put it on, but if it doesn't fit no sense in trying without the proper pillars and bows. I can't seem to find anything about the top/pillars and bows in the TM's.

I tried it. The bows are too low on the stock 4 man configuration. the top sags. in addition to that, when you get up to speed the top lifts and all the air flows around making the heater useless (more useless) I looked and looked for taller bows. I am sure they could be easily fabricated by someone with a tube bender. I still have mine rolled up in a duffle bag. Another purchased part that I wish I would have used $$ on something else.Buy the 4 man top and the cargo cover. it is much more versatile and keeps things dry.

The windshield is standard, but the B Pillar, C Pillar, two bows, which are also covered with about 3/4" foam and the rear bows are taller.

I imagine those pillars and bows are unobtanium material which expalins the cheap price we bought these tops for. There's gotta be a way to make a substitute or strap or bolt something on top of the current pillars to the right height.

4man top and cargo cover came with mine, I bought the ambulance top before I even got the humvee home as well as a bunch of other stuff.....

How much taller are they? I have some ideas to fab something on the inside.

there is about 4-6" of play or more in some areas. if you increased the bow height first, then increase the C pillar and rear section to make it tight it might work best.
